Tug Power Headed to Assist Sedna Desgagnes

UPDATE (Oct 20 11:15 a.m.) - The ship was removed from the shoal and has since been placed at the Prescott Elevator.

No word on damage at this time.

ORIGINAL REPORT - Two ocean tugs have been making their way toward Ogdensburg today and will be used to assist Sedna Desgagnes, which has been grounded near the International Bridge since Sunday.

The two tugs are bringing along a barge that will be used to offload cargo and lighten the ship.

Both tugs were approaching Massena this afternoon and should reach the grounded vessel this evening.

Are there other freight shipping companies that helped them carry those barge? I am waiting for any updates because I heard that some countries are currently experiencing bad weather.
